Rive Gauche - Charbonnages 2 - Residential building

The building will be exclusively for housing. Three split-level apartments will basically occupy the first two floors. These apartments will benefit from a garden. The two-bedroom split-level and single-storey apartments are distributed over the upper floors and under the roof.
The objective is to offer each resident a clearly identifiable housing unit. The split-level apartments on the ground floor can be easily transformed into single-family residences. They feature individual access by a small flight of steps serving as a buffer between the private and the communal areas. On the upper floors, the steps are replaced by communal outside walkways or private terraces. The façades link up around large 6-metres frames on the side. Each frame encompasses a residential unit consisting of a day floor (hall, lounge, kitchen) and a night floor (bedrooms, bathroom).
